Project Overview

Standout Features: Ceiling height increased from 8 ft to approx. 11 ft, vaulted ceiling, open-concept main floor, enlarged primary suite, walk-in closet, large custom shower, freestanding tub, custom kitchen and foyer, fireplace, exterior upgrades including roof, soffits, front door, and garage door.

This project involved a complete transformation of a family home in Etobicoke, with a strong focus on reimagining the interior spaces and creating a brighter, more open environment.

One of the most dramatic changes is immediately noticeable upon entering the home. The original 8-foot ceilings on the main floor were raised to approximately 11 feet, creating a striking vaulted ceiling with custom architectural detailing. This change significantly enhances the sense of space and light throughout the main level.

At the same time, the entire main floor layout was opened up by removing multiple interior walls, allowing for a seamless open-concept living, kitchen, and dining area. The result is a welcoming and expansive space designed for both everyday living and entertaining.

The second floor was partially reconfigured to provide a larger and more comfortable primary suite. The redesigned layout now includes a spacious primary bedroom, a dedicated walk-in closet, and a luxurious primary ensuite featuring a large custom shower. The shared bathroom on this level was also fully renovated with carefully selected finishes and updated detailing.

Throughout the home, each space was thoughtfully upgraded. The powder room and lower-level bathroom were redesigned as well, with the lower-level bathroom featuring a beautiful freestanding tub that adds a spa-like quality to the space.

On the main floor, the home also features a custom kitchen and foyer area, complemented by a striking fireplace feature that anchors the space and adds warmth and character.

Exterior improvements were also completed as part of the project, including new roofing, updated soffits, a new front entry door, and a new garage door, enhancing both performance and curb appeal.

Additional exterior work, including landscaping and outdoor upgrades, is planned as part of a future phase of the project.
