Astaneh Construction was founded in 2013 by Hamed Astaneh, starting with small jobs — a bathroom here, a single room there — and growing, referral by referral, into a full design-build renovation company serving homeowners across Toronto and the GTA.

More than a decade later, the way the company works hasn't changed. Every project still starts with Hamed walking the property in person, not reviewing photos or drawings from a desk. Architecture, permits, design, and trades are still coordinated by one in-house team, not handed off between subcontractors. And the standard is still the same one the company opened with.

A Message From Our Founder

Every project starts with me walking the space

I'm a veteran renovation professional with a range of whole-house renovations behind me — kitchens, basements, bathrooms — at the highest level in Toronto. Nobody appreciates more than I do that when your project is on the line, the devil's in the details, which is why every project still starts with me walking the space myself. Most contractors ask for photos or drawings before they'll even quote a job. I'd rather see it in person, meet the people who live there, and understand what they actually need before anything goes on paper.

We greet every client who visits our Yonge Street office with the same VIP treatment, because we know we're only as strong as our latest client reviews. Client budgets dictate everything — my job is finding ways to save you money, not ways to spend more of it. I've never tried to be the cheapest bid, and I'd rather walk away from a job than win one with a quote I know I can't deliver on. And if something comes up after a project is finished, we come back and fix it. No debate, no fine print.

Rana Forutan

Project Manager

Rana spent many years working in luxury retail at Rolex Yorkdale before moving into real estate and construction project management. She is a licensed real estate agent and also manages our projects at Astaneh Construction. She is extremely detail-oriented and meticulous, with a strong focus on organization, client experience, and making sure every detail is executed properly.
